The Weather Station

I recently installed a Peet Brothers weather station at my location.  Given my location, I may have the highest personal weather station in the country!

The outside elements of the weather station includes sensors for Wind Speed, Wind Direction, Humidity/Temp, and precipitation.  The wind vane, and the rain gauge are both heated.  This allows me to measure the water content of the snow fall.  All sensors are mounted on the Peet Brothers unimount option.

I am writing my own software, completely in Java, to track and display the weather locally.  Further, this program also publishes the data onto the web.  You can see it here.
