Went to the air dome area.  Put in some new line at the end of the old 100,000 foot point.  Dropped camera with stage bottle and took pictures on the way out.  Visited the IMAX film areas for some pics, as well.  Used 2 AL 80 side mount, and 1 AL 80 stage.  Turned on air at end of new survey.

Dan Lins in Dos OjosDan is pictured here swimming in the beginning of the cave, as we head off to find some new passage to survey.  We decided to do a stage dive, which allowed me to dump off the camera with the stage bottle.  That way I didn't have to deal with it for the whole trip.   This worked out well, and let me get some good pictures on the way out.

Stalagmites in the K2 area of Dos OjosAfter completing our survey, and picking up the stage bottle and camera, we decided to tour our way out through the K2 area.  Here are some stalagmites that were in that area of the cave, where the IMAX movie was filmed.  This area of the cave was fairly well decorated and quite pretty.

Dan Lins follows the line in the K2 areaWe followed the lines through the K2 area, and hitched back up with the cavern tour line after not too much distance.  We could see several groups of cavern tours making they way along the line.  It was hard to be inconspicuous from these groups, given the fact that we both had HID lights and were lighting things up pretty good.

Jim Olsen in Dos OjosAt the end of the stage dive, on the way out, I paused to let Dan take a picture of myself near the cavern zone.  We successfully surveyed some new passage off of the end of the spot where the 100,000 foot mark was reached.   All in all a very good day of diving.
