The Power Shed

The first project I tackled was to get the power shed built and up and running.  First, I located a place that was approximately flat, and the right distance away from where the turbine would be.  Using 6 awg wire, I determined that I wanted a maximum of 100 feet of wire running the 48V supply to the shed.  With much digging with the help of several friends from the abbeyweb (Thanks Roger, Joe, Frank, Mom, and Tyler!), we were able to finish the majority of the shack in a single weekend, including mounting the power panel.  In the subsequent days, I was able to get it wired, get a generator hitched up, and go live in the house with it.  Currently, I am already running off of the new setup.
