The Cave Illustrator window is on the lower left. You can see that a shot has been selected from the list and is highlighted as an individual artwork object within the artwork itself. Also, if you notice the layers section, the cave plot is given its own layer, and all individual artwork objects are named by the shot.

Here is a shot of an actual map in progress utilizing Cave Illustrator to manage the plot while drawing. It is really handy to be able to select all of the shots in a survey, then hide them, change color, etc. It is also nice to be able to rapidly turn on and off the station names for drawing purposes.
