Registration and activities for this year’s regional will be held at Taylor Park in the Bighorn Mountains of northern Wyoming.   It will start on Friday night, August 30 and run through Monday, Sept 2.  The regional will be held in the Bighorn National Forest with plenty of areas for car and tent camping at and near Taylor Park.  I will be there by midday Friday.

Port-a-johns will be available, but plan for dry camping.  The nearest source of potable water is 6 miles away.  The event is being held in the heart of the Spanish Point karst area.  Dry horizontal and dry vertical trips will be available; but if you like them deep wet and cold, you’ll love this area.

Bring your rope and bring your wetsuit!

The dinner and regional meeting will be held on Saturday night.  The menu will be homemade beef stew (omnivore) or ‘Friendly Lentil Soup’ (Vegetarian) with Salad and Garlic Bread.
