Polygamy Cave is located fairly near Polygamy's End Cave. It is mostly horizontal (especially when considering Polygamy's End Cave) and actually has some fairly large rooms in it. This is a small room at the bottom of a down climb. Water enters from above here, and flows down into the floor.
This bat, which apparently did not survive the long cold winter, was located at the top of the down climb into the lower reaches of the cave.
This is in the main room at the bottom of the climb near where the register is located.
We entered this cave on a particularly hot weekend in order to
escape the heat. After being in the cold of an alpine cave, and getting a bit wet,
the heat didn't feel nearly as bad as on the hike up. Of course, by the time we were
hiking back down, we were once again missing the cold.
