A simple photo trip after doing some lead pushing near the room of tears area. This was the second dive of the day. Took a bunch of photos until we needed to turn on air.
This was our second dive of the day, since we had plenty of air from the first dive, so
we re-calced thirds to do some photos and a little lead pushing. We headed out of
the cavern zone, and into cave zone. This sign says it all.
There are quite a few large stalactites hanging from the ceiling, that are fun to swim
among. Here Dan Lins passes under a few of them.
Dan spotted a low side mount passage off to the side, that hadn't been checked out.
So we tied in a reel to the main line, and headed off for it.
Dan entered the new passage, laying the line as he went. We ran the reel back for
a bit, before it ended abruptly on us. It was a pretty nice low side mount
passage.
Then it was time to head back out. A fun second dive, and my FIRST photo trip
into and underwater cave. Had lots of good 'learning experiences' in dealing with
the camera, on top of everything else. It takes quite a bit of concentration to deal
with a camera, side mount gear, light, etc. I managed to build some good techniques
on how to keep track of it all. A good way to finish out the day of diving.
