A rather small and not so interesting pit, Kaler Pit is visited more
for its potential (and the fact that it is about 20 feet from the road) than any other
reason. There are several large caves in the vicinity, so I keep an eye on this one
when visiting them. It currently ends in a low gravel crawl where I can hear water
from the stream above. It 
has been getting a little larger every year.
Besides, it does offer a quick nice pit with a fairly good view from the bottom.
